Our Primary Care Matrons
Our PCM has a long history working in the community, initially as a District Nurse and then qualifying as a Community Matron. She undertakes care of our housebound patients and performs clinical reviews within our Nursing Home. In particular, she deals with many of our elderly patients requiring complex medical needs and those patients who are palliative, working very closely with all the clinicians at the practice and liaising with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including MacMillan nurses, Social Services, District Nurses and Specialist Clinical Teams.
