Appointment Confirmation and Reminders – SMS messages

Many patients will receive appointment confirmation, reminders or cancellations by SMS message from the practice. At the end of the message there is an email address which starts ‘no-reply’. The email inbox linked to this email address is not monitored on a regular or routine basis, so when patients attempt to contact the practice using this email account, they will receive the following automatic reply:

Please note that this email account is not regularly monitored. It is meant for the incoming traffic of clinical patient information such as results, hospital letters and discharge summaries. Its intended use is not for patients to raise queries, order prescriptions, and arrange appointments or any other similar services. If you need to speak to a member of the practice, please contact the practice during our opening hours or visit our website for all of our contact details

Unfortunately, the email address cannot be removed from the message. Please do not contact the practice using the email address on your SMS messages. Thank you
